Advocacy
GFWC's Signature Program focus areas are diverse and include campus sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, human trafficking, intimate partner violence, military sexual assault, teen dating violence, and violence against Native American women.
One of our many efforts is our club's "Moving Forward with Dignity" project which supports victims of domestic violence as they transition out of safe homes provided by the Sanders County Coalition for Families and the YWCA Missoula. Also, GFWC offers a Success for Survivors scholarship.
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) – a women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service – urges you to enact the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA, S. 1748) establishing a legally relevant “duty of care” for social media companies to alter design platform features that harm children.
